Greetings SDC Beekeepers,
The July monthly SDC Beekeepers meeting will be held starting at 6:30 PM on July 27th at the Unitarian Universalist Church located at 107 W. Barcelona Rd, Santa Fe. Due to our growing size, the meeting location at the church has moved from the library to the larger meeting room.
We plan to present information on the biggest threat to our honey bees….the varroa mite, with information on the impact varroa mites have on our hives as well as both testing for and treating for mites. In addition, we can share our 2023 beekeeping season experiences and Kate will be answering any questions you may.
While we are hoping everyone can join us in person, we have scheduled a Zoom meeting at the same time so that those that cannot make the trip can still participate. Contact Steve @ steve1957@icloud.com for the Zoom link. Hope to see you all there!
