About

Beekeepers in the Sangre de Cristo bioregion of New Mexico and Colorado. We are an eclectic group of beekeepers who meet on the last Thursday of most months at 6:30 pm in Santa Fe. We include professional and hobby, experienced and novice, Langstroth and Top-bar beekeepers and welcome all new members regardless of experience level. Our focus is chemical-free and conscientious beekeeping. We discuss topics of interest to the group, taste honey, have occasional presentations and socialize. We provide a resource for beekeepers and community members to meet, educate and learn about sustainable and responsible beekeeping in our homes and farms. Members help with bee removals and swarm collection — contact us with our “report a swarm” form instead of an exterminator. Join us!
